We will work directly with you, or your builder, or your architect. All we require is a sketch from you to start. I can do a layout for you and we can add windows, doors, dormers as we go. If you prefer to purchase from a full service log home company we will work with them on your behalf to provide the laminated products that will make your home. We can offer some suggestions here based on the location where you will build. We maintain no inventory. Each home is a custom project for us. This insures that the quality of the product is exceptional. We have designed and built a custom dry kiln specifically for drying timber to be used in laminated logs. We do not offer windows, doors, sealers, screws, ..…. We can help you with this, but the best price option is always to purchase locally.
This is a hard one. Obviously the size of the home impacts this, but other factors do as well. Kiln drying time is a major factor in the schedule to complete a home.
If you require 2000 foot of log, it would require approximately 15 days for us to laminate. Lead time is job specific, and we will discuss it on a per job basis. Each home is a custom project and we will work with you from start to completion. As a rule of thumb, we will require 120 days from time of order to delivery for a typical home.
This is always the BIG question. Again this is job specific. I can in full confidence say that you will be very pleased. Typically you could move up a log size over most any other supplier. The larger the logs get, the more expensive they become for others, but not for us. The larger the log the more efficient we are. There are never any charges for us to quote for you.
