More about what we do

We work with many of the national log home companies to profile our logs. By doing this, we can offer any log style you like. We produce laminated posts, columns, and beams, that match the home with all the same benefits as the laminated logs that make the home.

What makes us special:

In addition to the benefits listed; here is where we get very special. We can offer a mixed species log. An example of this would be a home with a cedar or cypress exterior and a pine interior. These are very special. You can have a natural timber that is decay and insect resistant for the exterior of your home and a bright timber, full of knots and character for the interior of the home. It is even possible for us to be room specific within a house with this option. You could have a Great Room all done in Northern White Cedar and the rest of the home’s interior done in Eastern White Pine.

We have developed a structural log that blends into the log and home design. These logs are used to carry loads {beams & headers}, reach longer spans {floor joist & rafters}, and to meet local code requirements. These logs blend into the design with no difference in appearance. It is possible to reduce the number of log courses required to carry loads over windows and doors. You will also receive nationally recognized engineering documentation to offer to local approval and inspection authorities.
