This home is a typical timber frame construction. The owner wanted truss chords that would not check and twist. The truss is made from laminated red oak.

We supplied 28 ft., 6 in. x 9 in. laminated red oak beams.
Specialty Items - Copper End Caps
;)
An option that we offer and supply is a heavy guage copper end cap. This truly sets the buildings appearance. The copper cap will take on a natural patina over time. This is not only aestetically pleasing but provides the perfect weather seal for the end grain of the log.
